Capabilities Wake Wash Measurement and Analysis Wake Wash Impact Assessment Site and Route Evaluation Vessel Design Optimization

Stumbo Associates has carried out a large number of studies on wake wash measurements and environmental impact of wake wash from high speed ferries (fast ferries) and on route optimization with the aim of minimizing the negative effects of wake wash from high speed vessels.

We are providing service to water transit authorities, shipyards, vessel owners and environmental organizations. The services are the result of a determined research program to explain the very special dynamics of high speed vessel wake wash and, notably, to develop rational methods by which wake wash impact can be predicted and prevented when required. Instrument accuracy and highly developed analysis techniques enable us to assist the high speed craft industry in minimizing restrictions placed on these vessels due to wake wash or the perception of excessive wash (sometimes known as “wave wakeâ€).
